Named Senior VP At Bank Of The WestOBSERVER
STAFF REPORT Bank of the West has appointed Sacramento banker Nathan Cox as senior vice president and commercial banking manager for the institution's Central California/Nevada Division. Based in Sacramento, Cox oversees the division's commercial banking function which primarily serves locally-owned and controlled middle-market businesses.
brings more than 17 years of commercial and business banking experience in the Sacramento market to his
new position. Before joining Bank of the West, Cox held positions of increasing responsibility in the Wells Fargo Private Banking Group rising to serve as vice president, private client services.
Prior to that Cox
served at several other financial institutions including an earlier stint at Bank of the West
as vice president, business banking. Cox is a senior adjunct lecturer at the Golden Gate University, Agneo School of Business, serves as a director at the Henning Center for Hope and Recovery, regional chairman of Jack and Jill of America, and a director and audit committee chair of Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley. Cox
was named distinguished presenter at the National Association of Securities Professionals National Finance Service Conference
in 2004 and 2006.Cox holds an MBA in corporate finance from Golden Gate University, and a bachelor of science in marketing from Loyola Marymout University.
