Charlotte News, Weather, Sports | WCNC.com | WCNC Team Natalie Dick, Reporter Natalie Dick rejoined WCNC-TV in October 2006 after taking three years off to raise her two young children. Natalie has more than 15 years experience working in television news including positions as a photojournalist, reporter and anchor. Natalie began her career with WECT-TV (NBC6) in Wilmington, North Carolina where she worked as their Myrtle Beach Bureau Chief and later was promoted to Raleigh to cover the N.C. Legislature. From there, Natalie moved to Knoxville, Tennessee where she worked as a reporter and anchor with WATE-TV (ABC 6). In 1996, she returned to her home state to work as the crime reporter with WBTV News where she remained until coming to WCNC in September of 2000. She is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill School of Journalism and the Institute of Political Journalism at Georgetown University. Natalie was born in Albemarle, raised primarily in Hickory but has always held a special spot in her heart for the Queen City. She has been married nearly 15 years and has a son and daughter who keep her busy outside of work!

Natalie Dick joined NBC6/WCNC-TV as a reporter in September 2000.She has extensive experience working in television news , with previous positions as a reporter , anchor and news photographer.Natalie began her career as a photographer with WECT-TV ( NBC6 ) in Wilmington , North_Carolina and went on to become their Myrtle_Beach bureau_chief.She later moved on to cover North_Carolina legislature as WECT-TV's Raleigh bureau_chief.Upon her move to Knoxville , Tennessee , Natalie worked as a general assignment reporter for WATE-TV and was promoted to anchor , spending three years as the station's noon anchor.In 1996 , Natalie moved to Charlotte and covered the crime beat for WBTV-TV.She is a graduate of the journalism school at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.While still in school , Natalie spent a Summer at Georgetown University's Institute on Political Journalism and held a summer intern position at Voice of America in Washington D.C.
