Nancy Fleming RN, HBScN, MAEd
As a full time nursing professor at Confederation College, Nancy J. Fleming has 19 years of teaching experience in a variety of RN and RPN educational practice settings and theory subject areas.
area of expertise is maternal infant theory and practice and is most rewarded teaching in those areas.
She graduated in 1972 with her diploma in nursing and spent 16 years specializing in all aspects of obstetrics with 5 years in neonatal intensive care taking a certificate in neonatology from Toronto Sick Kids Hospital.
A life-long learner Nancy graduated in 1988 from Lakehead University with an HBScN and accepted a position with the college full time in 1988 to teach in many areas.
She completed her Masters of Arts in Education degree from Central Michigan University with an 'Adult Learning Specialty'.
interests lie with student success and maximizing their educational experiences.
While partaking in student success initiatives through a group called 'Students First Team' she researched the many benefits of formal student advisement.
has taught with the college/university BScN collaborative nursing program on campus plus to the multiple campuses on Northwestern Ontario using a variety of technologies.
