Myron was first exposed to Asian cooking while serving the US Navy in Yokohama, Japan in the early 1960's.

In 1993 when Myron discovered that a highly placed Boston chef was purchasing large quantities of the sauce for use in his restaurant, the company began packaging for the food service industry.
