Read More Murray Casault, who brings 20+ years of experience working on the operations side of the oil and gas industry over to the business side, believes adapting positively to change is the key to success. It's something he's learned firsthand over his long and varied career working in the energy sector. Prior to joining Brion Energy, Casault spent 18 years at Shell Canada Limited in a variety of increasingly more senior roles in operations and project leadership that spanned both unconventional heavy oil and sour gas assets. He joined Brion in 2011 as operations manager for the Heavy Oil Assets (Mackay River and Dover North Commercial Projects) where he led the operations team through initial business and project development phases. In 2013, he was promoted to the position of vice president for Business Services where he's responsible for Business Transformation, Information Services, Supply Chain Management and Office Services. In this role, he's able to apply his many years' experience working in disciplined operations to improve the business side, creating sustainable changes to how Brion serves its business. Casault and his team identify and execute different initiatives that are aimed at improving operating efficiencies across the company. In addition to providing Brion's supply chain and information system support, they're also identifying and delivering efficient and effective business solutions that reduce redundancies, complexity and costs. Creating new best practices for the business is challenging and rewarding work aided considerably by Casault's depth and breadth of knowledge that he gained in two decades of diversified experience in the unconventional heavy oil and sour gas industry. Casault, who is married with two children, graduated from Mount Royal University's Business Administration - Management program in 1992 and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology's Power Engineering Technology program in 1994.
