VP, Broadband Home Networking, Broadcom
Moti brings 23 years of managing and engineering experience in communications and semiconductors to his current role as a Vice President of Broadband Home Networking in Broadcom.
Moti joined Broadcom in 2007 as part of the acquisition of Octalica Inc.
He was a co-founder and CEO of Octalica Inc., which developed home networking silicon solutions based on MoCA technology.
Prior to founding Octalica, Moti was the CEO of several semiconductor companies such as Silicon Value Inc. which was acquired in 2000 and provided integrated high-speed communications chips, Cinata Communications which developed switch fabric solutions for high-end director class switches and Triolin Technologies which developed ccNUMA based backbone technology for blade-servers.
Moti held a position as entrepreneur in residence at Cedar Fund, a venture capital firm, conducting market and technology research.
Moti started his career at Digital Equipment Corporation where he was a member of the founding team of Digital's design center in Israel for ten years, leading its flagship 100BaseT Ethernet chips.
Moti holds a BSEE in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Technion Technology Institute in Haifa, Israel.
