Moses Wong is the managing director of Season Gate Pte Ltd, the company he founded in December 2010.
He studied in St Andrew's School and Hwa Chong Junior College before attaining his B.Sc. from the National University of Singapore. He then topped his cohort at the National Institute of Education with distinction honors and joined the education service in 1988. Within a year of becoming a teacher, Moses was selected to teach in the Gifted Education Programme at Raffles Institution. He was appointed Head, Pupil Welfare and Head, Admissions at Raffles Institution in 1991. While working full time, Moses also attained his M.Ed from the National University of Singapore, specializing in testing, assessment and educational psychology. Moses joined Temasek Polytechnic's senior management team in 1995 and was concurrently the Registrar, Director / Student Services and Director / International Relations and Business Development. In 2000, he was seconded to the Ministry of Education to head the School Placement and Scholarships Branch. In the Ministry of Education, he administered all the government scholarships offered in China, India and the ASEAN region and was instrumental in policy changes to improve the national pupil placement process. On completing his secondment in 2003, Moses returned to Temasek Polytechnic as Director of the School of Design. In 2007, Moses pioneered the >60 Design Centre (Singapore's National Design Centre for the Aging, set up by the Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports and Temasek Polytechnic). Moses is a widely sought after speaker on the areas of ageing needs, education and organization management, having spoken at conferences and seminars in Japan, China, Indonesia, USA and Taiwan.
