Morton McDonald, Chairman
Morton McDonald, son of the founder, served as Advertising Manager of the Stanford Daily to see how he liked this business.
Upon graduation and marriage, he
took a job at ORTHO (then called California Spray Chemical
, the largest agricultural chemical firm in the world).
was an in-house agency; doing paste-up, copywriting, supervising the first Garden book, and running garden club meetings.
Only then did his
father offer him a job, where he
continues today in sales and management.
Morton has been president of the Northern California chapter of Business Marketing Association, regional vice-president of BMA and has served on the national board.
