Mona Morstein
Dr. Mona Morstein has a B.S. in Foods and Nutrition and earned her naturopathic degree and did her residency at National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR. Following graduation Dr. Morstein established a successful private practice in Great Falls, MT that she ran for 13 years. Dr. Morstein then joined Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and was Chair of nutrition, gastroenterology professor, and supervising physician of students in the out-patient medical clinic for 11 years. She is recognized as an expert on pre-diabetes and diabetes, and also specializes in gastroenterology and hormonal disorders. She is a frequent conference and webinar lecturer each year. She has created the well-received conferences "Insulin Intensive Seminar", and "Comprehensive Care of Diabetics", two day seminars where she teaches medical professionals and students how to use insulin and how to work with all types of diabetic patients. She owns and moderates NaturopathicChat, the largest ND email list. She is part of the Arizona Diabetes Coalition, and the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of American's Medical Advisory Board in Phoenix, AZ. In 2012, Dr. Morstein received the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians "The President's Award", honoring her comprehensive work for the naturopathic profession during her career.
