As vice president and Strategic Client and Business Development Director, Mitch works to develop new business and client opportunities while maintaining agency relationships in California, the Pacific Northwest and Southeast regions.
has more than 20 years of business development, technical, and project management experience in the environmental field.
has managed permitting teams for energy projects including solar and wind farms on private and United States Department of the Interior Bureau
of Land Management administered lands.
has worked in more than seven states including Arizona, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington and spent several years working on natural gas pipeline expansion projects in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
facilitates coordination between federal, state, and local agencies and Native American Tribes to develop programmatic agreements and memorandums of understanding for large, complex projects and programs.
has led public scoping meetings, presented at several national conferences, and worked on a local level ensuring successful project communication with stakeholders.
Mitch holds a Doctor of Philosophy in archeology from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland where he performed graduate work in ethnology and maritime archaeology.
has extensive training in tribal consultation, cultural sensitivity, Section 106, and FERC licensing.
