As vice president and Cultural Resources leader, Mitch works with clients and agencies to ensure cultural resource management and regulatory compliance while bringing projects in on schedule.
Mitch has more than 20 years of experience managing large-scale cultural resources and environmental projects for a variety of clients, including public utilities, mining companies, and private developers. He facilitates Native American SB18 consultation, coordinates and works with regulatory agencies on impact analysis and mitigation planning, and has helped in the development of programmatic agreements and memorandums of understanding for clients and federal agencies.
Mitch holds a Doctor of Philosophy in archeology from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland where he performed undergraduate work in archaeology and ethnology, and maritime studies. He has extensive training in archaeology and cultural sensitivity, SB 18, Section 106, and FERC.
