Missy started her career in 1985, managing John Tatum in the World Class area. They soon jumped to the UWF, where she would manage then-husband Eddie Gilbert.Gilbert soon joined up with Sting and Missy became their manager.Gilbert got Rick Steiner to sign on a couple of months later, and they all soon jumped to the WCW/NWA.In 1988, Sting and Gilbert went their own directions, but Rick still kept Missy as his manager.Rick soon brought in his younger brother Scott to help him in his feud with the Varsity Club.Missy saw potential. In 1989, Missy led the Steiner Brothers and became Scott's girlfriend. The Steiner's were quickly becoming the top tag team in WCW and Missy was part of the reason why.But Missy wasn't the only female to get herself a Steiner.A female fan of Rick Steiner finally get her wish, as she got a date with Rick.Missy made her over, and Robin Greene went from zero to a bombshell. This would soon haunt Missy, because when the Steiner's got their World Tag Team title shot, Robin tripped Scott Steiner. With Robin pointing to Missy and Missy & Scott pointing to Robin, the distraction cost the Steiner's the World titles.Robin wanted to talk to Scott in a parking lot of an arena, and Scott soon learned the true colors of Ms. Greene. He was attacked by two black assailants. After this incident, it was announced that Robin changed her name to Woman and the two attackers were her tag team, Doom (Ron (Farooq) Simmons & Butch Reid).Even though this caused even a bigger distraction for the Steiner's, Missy led them to their first World Tag title reign on November 1, 1989.In 1990, Missy started her career as a commentator for WCW.She started doing commentary on WCW Main Event wrestling, and soon did interviews at big events.Sorry to say, one Mr. Stan Hanson wasn't too pleased. He ran her off at two pay-per-views.Missy also got dunked into a trough full of water during a Cactus Jack-Van Hammer falls-count-everywhere match at a Clash of the Champions.
In 1992, Paul E. Dangerously soon pestered Missy, because of her then boyfriend, "Wonder Years" Jason Hervey. This sparked Missy to challenge Paul E. to an arm wrestling match.Missy won it.But this wasn't the end of Paul E. Paul soon had his new executive director of covert operations Madusa Miceli challenge Missy to a swimsuit contest.Missy won yet again.
In 1993, Missy decided to go back to managing. She managed the Nasty Boys to the World tag titles, managed Ric Flair for a month, and soon managed the Barbarian to a win streak. In 1994, however, Missy would find herself in controversy. Her stint in WCW came to an end in 1994 when she was fired by the promotion. Her expulsion came after an incident where at a live event, Missy excitedly jumped up and down on the Ring apron and inadvertently "popped" out of her top. When a photograph of the scene was allegedly taped to a wall at the offices of the parent company of WCW, Missy filed suit for sexual harassment.
In 1996, Missy and Paul E. buried the hatchet and Missy went to ECW, where she managed both the Sandman and Shane Douglas. She started as a commentator for the AWF and actually became their world wrestling champion. She worked in many wrestling circuits including AJPW where she is feuding with Kimona Wanlaya. She also worked several ECW shows in late 2000 and early 2001.There are rumors around that Missy is interested in joining the WWF and Titan may also be interested in her.
Missy joined the newest hot wrestling association, the XPW, where she went up against Chastity. After a fast fight with Chastity, Missy left XPW and in 2000 she focused on writing her autobiography. She is currently still a part time wrestling manager and going to college.
