Miryam Bar said a march Thursday celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of Israel carried several blessings. First was the freedom to march, said the native of Morocco. "Over there, you cannot walk and you cannot express your religion," she said. > She also felt blessed to witness the birthday of what she considers a great country. Bar was among about 60 people who marched about a half-mile from the parking lot of Barnes & Noble in DeWitt to the Jewish Community Center, 5655 Thompson Road.
