Jesuit Sports Hall of Fame Jesuit Sports Hall Of Fame Milton G. Gaudet Milton G. Gaudet Milton Gaudet served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. From 1954 to 1958 he was an assistant coach in football, basketball, and baseball at Jesuit in New Orleans. Gaudet was Head Football Coach and teacher of mathematics at Jesuit High School from 1958-64. Coach Gaudet credits the team's 12th man, who was represented by the squad attending daily mass. As Father May put it, "They take Christ into every game they play." In 1964, Gaudet returned to New Orleans to coach football and baseball, leading his team to both a district and state championship in American Legion baseball. Gaudet left high school sports to become the General Manager of City Park. From 1976-1993 he was the Safety Director of Evans Cooperage Co. Upon retirement from Evans Cooperage he was asked to organize a soccer program for Dominican Girls High School. After six seasons his record in soccer is 88-37-11.
