Michael Tyndall Vice President, Product Development and Implementation, Cotton Incorporated Robert Michael Tyndall is the Vice President, Product Development and Implementation at Cotton Incorporated. He joined Cotton Incorporated in 1974 and has worked within many facets of the company, including laboratory technician; Manager, Product Implementation; Associate Director, Technical Services; Senior Director, Global Product Marketing; and Managing Director, Product Development & Implementation. He received his Bachelor of Science in Textile Chemistry and Master of Textiles from North Carolina State University. He also served as an Adjunct Industrial Associate, Textile Extension and Applied Research at the College of Textiles, North Carolina State University. He has nearly 40 years of experience in the areas of preparation, dyeing and finishing cotton and cotton blended fabrics. He has been a Senior Member of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists since 1976, where he is currently serving as the Immediate Past President and Chair of the Appropriations Committee. Involvement in this organization aides in carrying out the mission to exchange professional knowledge among textile professionals within the global textile industry. Over the course of his career, he has authored or co-authored many publications focusing on the science of new technology adoptions and product development. Tyndall has dedicated 42 years to Cotton Incorporated and continues to work with industry professionals to bring new knowledge to the company.
