Music Minister Mike Tucker and special guests will be in concert Friday beginning at 7 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2701 Reid St., Palatka, next to McDonald's.

Admission is one nonperishable food item that will go into Thanksgiving baskets the church is providing for local needy families.
A reception will follow and the public is invited.
A nursery will be provided.
According to Tucker
plans to add a few spiritual songs to the concert as a tribute to his
mother, Melva, who died in January 2002.
"My mom was an incredible Christian woman," he
"Music has always been a part of my life," said Tucker
, who lives in Hastings.

"I never knew him until I was grown," he

worked 60 hours a week and drove back and forth to Jacksonville plus pastoring a church.
At the time, I resented the church because a lot of times I would want my dad, but he
