Michael G. Parent
has 28 years of corporate fitness and wellness experience.
He began his career as a college intern with Fitcorp in 1980 when Fitcorp operated one facility within Boston's financial district and had just two corporate clients.
After graduating from Springfield College with a degree in Exercise Science in 1981, Mike joined the staff as a Personal Trainer.
In 1983, Mike became Fitcorp's Director of Corporate Programs and developed many of Fitcorp's unique capabilities to serve the corporate fitness market.
This led to the development of the Fitcorp
Benefit, a combination of fitness center membership programs and worksite based fitness and wellness services.
In 1986, Mike became General Manager of Fitcorp's Longwood Center, a successful joint venture between Fitcorp and the Brigham and Women's Hospital.
In 1989, Mike became Vice President of Fitcorp's Private Managed Center Division and advanced the division into a leadership position in the industry before being sold in 2006.
In 1992, he became a Fitcorp Partner and was promoted to his current position where he is responsible for new business development, corporate sales and marketing, as well as overseeing the management of Fitcorp's 175 current client relationships.
