Sun West Bank Senior Vice President of Business Development and Community Relations, Mike Murdock, says that his first term on the board has already proved to be a joy and an honor.

primary role within the RSCVA is to help and oversee the CFO's office, utilizing his
financial background to advise on monetary decisions that could affect the future of the organization.
While Murdock admits that being the first executive from Sun West Bank to be voted onto the board is a challenge, Sun West supported his nomination from the city, and was gratified to learn of his appointment.
remaining time on the board of directors, Murdock
is looking forward to improving the decision-making capability of the RSCVA.
He added that, having the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce and New Bankers' Association nominate him to the city for appointment to the RSCVA is one more proof of Sun West's commitment to the overall well being of the communities they serve.
