Mike Madson has been forecasting and broadcasting the weather in southern Colorado for almost two decades.After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology (Magna Cum Laude), he worked at KUTV in Salt Lake City for nearly a decade, before arriving in southern Colorado in 1987.He later went on to earn a Master's in Geosciences.His adventures in radio reach from work as a "disk jockey" in the 1970s, to national weather and technology broadcasts for BusinessTalkradio.net.In the world of print, Mike (and his family) produced a "family computing" column for a variety of publications.He is currently a faculty member at Pikes Peak Community College, Honoraria at CU Colorado Springs, an instructor for CSU-Pueblo and National American University, (and an early-morning seminary teacher for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), teaching world regional geography, weather and climate, landforms, Earth Science and Meteorology.Mike and his wife, Linda, have been married for "just shy of 30 years."
