"Over the last 18 months, CWAG, the Wisconsin Partnership on Housing Development (WPHD) and the U.S. Environmental Protections Agency (EPA), have all been working collaboratively on a local economic development initiative called; "Creating Elderly Friendly Communities," said Mike Linton, who went on to say; "Given the successful pilots that have occurred in Appleton and Richland Center, CWAG, WPHD and the U.S. EPA will be working with those interested local community leaders and elected officials in Wisconsin, to assist them in developing a similar planning processes and strategies for developing their cities into Elderly Friendly Communities."
