Michael Elliott, CFP
Born in Beaver County, PA, Michael moved to Lancaster County in 1989 after graduating from Robert Morris University with a degree in Business Administration. After a brief stint with Lancaster City Recreation Commission, he joined Sir Speedy Printing working his way up to owner in four short years. Here is where he honed the skills that make him a valuable resource to his clients. The next fourteen years were spent as Business Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, CIO, and Benefits Administrator. A large percentage of his time was dedicated to overseeing the company's group health plan as well as their 401(k) program. His experience as an employer purchasing group health plans gives him a special insight into both sides of the health insurance quoting process. In early 2005 Michael began the rigorous process of becoming licensed in both insurance and securities. In December 2005 he chose the strength and diversity of Lancaster Financial Services to provide his clients with the guidance necessary to meet and exceed their financial goals. He also saw the opportunity to work with group health plan providers to bring affordable coverage to their employees. In addition to his professional career, Michael is very active in the community. He serves as Fire Chief for the Neffsville Community Fire Company. He is the Vice President of the Manheim Township Fire Council. He is also a member of the Lititz United Methodist Church.

"The money will go to the fund that has been established for the benefit of those firefighters," said Neffsville Fire Chief Mike Elliott.
The breakfast will be held in the Neffsville Fire Company fire hall, 200 E. Oregon Road. The menu will feature eggs, sausage, pancakes and home fries. "We're good at breakfasts in Neffsville because we've done a bunch of them, and they've been very successful as fundraisers," Elliott said. Nineteen of the 20-member elite firefighting crew died June 30 when they were trapped by a fast-moving 2,000-acre wildfire at Yarnell Hill, south of Prescott, Ariz. All were members of the Prescott Fire Department. Neffsville has a history of helping other fire companies when tragedy strikes. "When Charleston (South Carolina) lost nine guys some years ago, we did it for them," Elliott said. "We have always taken an interest in helping out."
