Miguel ValenciaMiguel is a native of Mexico, but he has lived most of his adult life in California It was in San Francisco that he began his career in the janitorial business.He started out as a janitor with a small company named Albert Janitorial Services.After working with Albert for a period of one year Miguel went to work for a start up janitorial company named A & B. When Miguel joined A & B the small San Francisco based company had only 25 employees.A & B Janitorial, under the direction of Mike Abrahamson, grew quickly and Miguel, working closely with Mike Abrahamson, advanced very quickly through all facets of the janitorial business.By 1985, the company had grown to 1,200 janitors and Miguel had served as a janitor, supervisor, operations manager, and customer service representative and account manager.Based on the size and success of A + B Janitorial, the company was sold to MACKE Industries of Maryland.At the time of the sale, the company had grown to become the largest, privately held janitorial company in the Bay Area.Miguel remained with MACKE in the capacity of account manager.In this capacity, he met another MACKE colleague named Don Montell who worked out of the San Diego branch. On January 1, 1986, Don Montell and Miguel Valencia formed a janitorial company based in San Diego, called South Coast Building Services.Miguel brings tremendous drive, and professional knowledge to South Coast.He is proficient in every facet of the janitorial business and currently serves as an account manager for our largest area of properties in San Diego County.He is widely respected by his employees and customers and is always ready to assist the organization in any capacity.His 30 years of experience are invaluable to our company and provide an outstanding resource for all our customers.
