Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - Michelle F. Marsh has been named vice president of strategic planning for Broward Health.
will provide strong operational leadership through the development, execution and maintenance of a comprehensive strategic planning process to achieve system goals.
Her responsibilities include administration and communication of short- and long-term strategic plans, business and market development and market research and planning.
Since 2004, Marsh has been the director of marketing and business development at Plantation General Hospital and Westside Regional Medical Center both HCA-affiliated facilities.
Prior to her role with HCA, Marsh was manager of strategic planning for the North Broward Hospital District (now Broward Health).
She managed the corporate strategic plan and was responsible for maintaining the four medical centers, children's hospital and supporting services strategic plans.
Marsh has a Masters of Health Services and Administration from George Washington University with a focus in Strategic Planning.
She received a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University with a major in Health Policy and Administration and a minor in Business.
