In 1991, Mr. Daley
won an International Association of Business Communicator's
(IABC) Award of Excellence for a crisiscommunications plan he
wrote and implemented.In 1995, Mr. Daley
won two IABC Silver Inkwell Awards of Merit for feature writing and developing legislative communications campaigns.Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Mr. Daley attended Knox College boarding school in Jamaica, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude, from Dillard University and completed executive development programs at Harvard University, George Washington University and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.He has also served as a guest lecturer at Georgetown and Howard Universities. In 1983, Mr. Daley co-founded the real estate firm of Dean-Daley and Associates.He co-founded Zanzibar on the Waterfront in 1992.Mr. Daley is a Member of the Board of Directors of CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, a health services organization.Mr. Daley also served on the executive board of the Consortium of Information and Telecommunications Executives (CITE) and is a member of the Developmental Roundtable for Upward Mobility (DRUM), both of which are professional development organizations.Mr. Daley is an airplane pilot and enjoys tennis, photography and traveling.He
