Michael Wilson - Attorney
Michael was born in Oxford, Mississippi, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Mississippi in 1994.
later moved to Texas and took his
law degree from Southern Methodist University 1998.
Michael began practicing as a defense lawyer with Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons in Dallas, Texas.
later moved to Godwin Gruber, LLP
, where he
became one of the youngest partners in the firm's history.
After many years of defense work, Michael founded Berent & Wilson, LP, and began representing victims in cases primarily involving general negligence, personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and employment discrimination.
Since joining the Curtis Law Group, Michael has concentrated his practice on representing injured victims in pharmaceutical product liability cases pending in various state and federal jurisdictions across the country.
Michael is on the Board of Directors of the SMU Athletic Forum.
He is also Legal Counsel and a member of the Board of Directors of I'm Dying to Tell You Something, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of terminally ill cancer patients.
Mike is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Bar Association.
