As the former President of Vanderslice Consulting Group (VCG), a management consulting firm, Mike focused on the unique challenges of emerging companies and professional service firms.In relation to professional service firms, he has addressed issues such as partner compensation, partner roles and responsibilities, firm leadership and management succession, firm organization, merger evaluation and planning, firm capitalization, financial planning and management, training and coaching of senior leaders, and partner terminations and dissolutions.He is also a specialist in assisting late stage entrepreneurial businesses in moving toward professional management as the next level developing their organization.He
also has deep experience in assisting family businesses to achieve greater business success.Previously, Mike was Managing Principal of Moss Adams Consulting.He
was responsible for the specialized management consulting services provided by Moss Adams Consulting
in four functional areas of practice (Business and Organizational Planning, Information Technology, and Human Resources), and several west coast practice offices.Earlier, Mike served as President and Board Chair of Management Design Associates, a multi-office and multi-disciplinary management consulting firm.Mike is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of Fluke Venture Partners, a northwest venture capital firm, and is active in the Institute of Management Consultants, the National Association of Corporate Boards of Directors, and the Turnaround Management Association.
