Mike Morley, assistant pastor at First United Methodist Church, is a newlywed.
"Communication is the key.You both need to have a solid plan in place - no assumptions," Morley
wife have maintained their two-year marriage with separate checking accounts and a joint savings account.
"We split all of our bills in proportion to our salaries, as well as sharing full access to our accounts," Morley
As a pastor to teens and young adults thinking about marriage or newly married, his
advice is simple.
"Agree to take 10 percent off your earnings for a tithe to your charity or church organization and set aside another 10 percent for savings," Morley
