Michael received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.He also studied at the University of Munich and speaks German fluently.

Adapting traditional human rights methodologies to conduct cutting-edge research, The Advocates has produced 75 reports documenting human rights practices in 25 countries.
Michael led a team of four associates and five partners, and across four departments, that helped the Advocates review their internal governance documents, structure, and other transactional legal issues.
Michael is currently leading a nonprofit review project that is being staffed primarily by lawyers from our client UnitedHealth Group.Michael and other Dorsey lawyers are serving as a resource to the UHG team that is providing a nonprofit review for a different â€œARCâ€ organization.
