responsibilities include assisting the engineering community with the design development, and specification of projects as they relate to mechanical and energy recovery systems.Michael
has held positions with both end users and engineering firms that have a specialized focus on energy conservation.Michael was formerly vice president of the Energy Services Group for Phatpipe, Inc., and the senior vice president and director of the MEP Engineering group for 3 D/International, in Houston , Texas . Michael has been active in AEE for almost 20 years.He was selected as the Region IV Energy Engineer of the Year Award by AEE in 1993, was President of the North Texas Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers in both 1990 and 1996, and Vice President of the Lone Star Chapter of the AEE in 1999 and President in 2001. Michael earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1987, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University in 1983, and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from the State University of New York in 1983. Michael is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas , a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Demand Side Manager, A Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
