Michael F. Horning
Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer
Michael Horning joined United Educators (UE) as the CFO and vice president for finance and administration in July 2000.
is responsible for all finance and accounting functions, human resources, facility management, and information technology.
Prior to joining UE, Horning was employed at Montgomery Insurance Companies where he held a number of positions during his 12-year career including controller, treasurer, chief financial officer, and senior vice president.
He began his career in public accounting where he rose to the position of audit senior manager with Touche Ross & Co. in Washington DC.
Horning has a bachelor of science in business administration with a major in accounting from John Carroll University in Ohio and is a Maryland-licensed certified public accountant.
