Allied Bakeries Ireland's TPM facilitator, Michael Hempton, believes that the award is a tribute to the work that the bakery's team has invested in the scheme.
"Teamwork was a crucial factor in ensuring that the TPM scheme was successful across the bakery," explained Michael
."It has been a busy four months and we have had to work hard to meet the targets that we set when we embarked on the scheme.
"Using the techniques set out in the scheme, including the team and bakery employees as a whole, has transformed many aspects of the work in the bakery and we are delighted that, in such a short space of time we have made such an impact in reducing the level of damaged goods," he
