Michael Griffin has worked in the New York Real Estate Industry for over 20 years, and joined Scopa CRE in 2009.
Mr. Griffin began his career in 1989 as a real estate salesperson with Warner Group, Inc where he completed lease transactions totaling over 250,000 square feet.
In 1993, Mr. Griffin became the Director of Sales and Marketing for a mechanical contracting firm.
During this tenure, he
was responsible for all sales/ marketing, and the overall management of the estimating, project management, and accounting departments.
In 1995, Mr. Griffin joined Hines Interest as a property manager and opened a 1.3 million square foot corporate headquarters for Morgan Stanley.
role expanded to include facilities management of multiple Morgan Stanley locations in New York.
In 2001, Mr. Griffin joined CIBC World Markets as the Executive Director of Real Estate.
In this capacity, Mr. Griffin
was responsible for coordinating the design, construction, and relocation activity of a 300,000 square foot corporate banking headquarters.
In 1995, Mr. Griffin joined Jones Lang LaSalle as a general manager with responsibility for all Wachovia Bank facilities in New York City.
was instrumental in the design and construction of the bank's new 250,000 square foot corporate headquarters in the landmarked Seagram's building.
In 2008, Mr. Griffin joined Abercrombie & Fitch as the International Director of Flagship Real Estate.
His responsibilities included the management of all international flagship office, retail, and warehouse locations and development of European expansion locations.
Mr. Griffin obtained a BA in Business Management from New Jersey City University in 1988, and a MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
In addition, Mr. Griffin
maintains a NY State real estate salesperson's license, New York City Fire Safety License, and New York City Refrigeration License.
He has served on various boards including BOMA Board of Directors, Torch Foundation Board of Directors, and The Westwood NJ Zoning Board.
