Michael Giordano holds an M.Ed in Learning and Instructional Technology from Arizona State University.
Prior to joining the University of New Hampshire as an Instructional Designer and Manager of the Instructional Development Center (IDC), he worked as a Technical Training Engineer for Intel Corporation in Chandler, Arizona.
As manager of the IDC, he manages a team of instructional technology professionals that provide training, development, and support for over 750 faculty.
has initiated several instructional technology programs on campus including FITSI (http://at.unh.edu/fitsi/2003), the Faculty Instructional Technology Summer Institute
(http://at.unh.edu/idc/etap), the Educational Technology Assistant Program which matches trained students with instructional design teams to design and develop technology projects.
has presented at several international conferences including the Association of Educational Communications and Technology, Syllabus
