Michael "Mike" Esala, 41, SERVICES: Funeral 2 p.m. Monday at the Range Funeral Home in Virginia.Michael "Mike" Esala, 41, of Embarrass died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, while at work in Henderson, Neb. He was born Aug. 14, 1961, in Virginia to Arnold and Eleanor (Kangas) Esala.He grew up in the Pike-Sandy area and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Virginia.He also attended Hibbing Community College.He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver.He had worked for LTV Steel and after its closing was working for Moorhead Electric.He was a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard and was an E-5 sergeant in maintenance.He was a member of Masonic Lodge 264 A.F.&A.M.He loved his country home, enjoyed the outdoors, growing and eating his potatoes.
