In addition to all this subterfuge (including as well the deceptions we described in our article, "The Events of September 11, 2001: What's Going On"), Michael Chossudovsky, a Professor of Economics at the University of Ottawa and Director of the Centre for Research on Globalization - in an article that appeared in Global Outlook entitled "Mysterious September 11 Breakfast Meeting on Capitol Hill" - tells how in the late days of August 2001, barely two weeks before 9/11, Senator Bob Graham and Representative Porter Goss, the then chairmen of the Senate and House Select Committees on Intelligence, were in Islamabad, Pakistan for consultations with the head of Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence Agency (ISI), General Mahmoud Ahmad.
Chossudovsky also describes a second meeting a few weeks later that Goss and Graham had with Ahmad, this time in Washington DC, a meeting that from all appearances was supposed to have been kept secret from the public.
