Mrs. Bruntz had been on long-term disability since 1995.Prior to that, she was employed by State Farm Insurance Co. for 10 years.She, Mr. Bauming and their daughter, Jackie, lived in California for 10 years.They were all involved in women's softball.She was the manager and Jackie was a pitcher.Her health problems brought them back to Greeley.Mrs. Bruntz graduated from Greeley High School, now Greeley Central, in 1961.She stayed home and took care of her family until the youngest was in kindergarten, then went to work at the law firm of Linley, McDougal, Melocke and Murphy for two years.She did volunteer work at school and church for her children.She loved to entertain, cook and clean.She loved to swim.In San Diego, she worked in the city attorney's office in El Cajon.She worked for Tom Opdyke and John Watson for a year in Greeley, then worked for her father in the accounting business for six years.She next worked for Hensel Phelps Construction Co. as a secretary for two years.
