Youth PastorMichael Bell is the youth pastor of Ignite Student Ministries.He is a graduate of Christian Life College earning his BA in Ministerial Studies.Along with leading ignite, Michael also works in the student services department at Christian Life College.Michael has been involved in church and para-church youth ministry for over fifteen years.
He has served as a youth pastor in Davenport, IA and in the Joliet, IL area.Michael met his wife, Christina while working with low-income/at-risk youth at Youth Hope in Moline, IL.
Michael has answered God's call to return to youth ministry after working in the educational field over the past year.He is excited to see God impact the lives of youth as they hear and live out the truth of His Word.
Michael's passion is to equip students with the ability to answer others who question their faith in Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 3:15)

Rev. Michael E. Bell, Sr.Reverend Michael E. Bell, Sr. followed the footsteps of his father and grandfather into the ministry.He is an ordained Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church.Rev. Bell has a BA in Sociology from the Univ. of Maryland, a Master of Divinity degree from Howard University, and is a doctoral candidate at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta.Previously, Rev. Bell served as pastor of the Bethel AME Church in Centerville, Maryland and Bazil AME Church in Cokeysville, Maryland, and Shiloh AME Church in Houston, TX.He also served on the staff of Bethel AME in Baltimore, and preached for the U.S. Armed Forces. Pastor Bell is married to Lena Michelle and proud father of Michael Jr., Kristen Nicole and Dominique Louis.
Rev. Michael Bell is also a commited believer in community involvement.He has served as a member of Project Raise, to mentor inner-city youths.He served on the Board of Directors for Shepard Pratt Hospital in Cokeysville, MD.Pastor Bell is a member of the Advisory Board for School Improvement at Rosenberg Elementary, a member of the Steering Committee for Galveston Partnership for Better Living, and a member of the Steering Committee for Champion of Children in Galveston.He was appointed by the Mayor and City Council to the Redistricting Committee for the City of Galveston, and he was elected to the Galveston ISD Board of Trustees. His preaching has taken him to several cities around the country, and to the Island of Bermuda as well.He has had the opportunity to preach on TV and radio, and he was selected one of the Outstanding Young Men of America for the 1998 Edition.
