For more than three decades, Dr. Janus
has consulted with industry and business in the areas of personnel psychology and organizational development.
He has directed or performed hundreds of executive and senior management evaluations for local, regional, national and several Fortune 500 companies representing varied industries, including healthcare, for purposes of selection, promotion, coaching, career development, and outplacement.
has directed or performed tens of thousands of pre-employment and pre-promotion psychological assessments for management positions, specialists in finance, accounting, sales/marketing, technical/analytical work and for individuals with disabilities.
has applied his
assessment expertise to corporate talent management, management development, "problem" employee counseling, and vocational rehabilitation.
At the institutional level, he
has designed, directed and implemented corporate engagements for the purposes of organizational development and change (ODC), including the analysis and design of business and work processes for heightened efficiency and cost reduction, clarifying boundary conditions and role or departmental responsibilities, promoting cross-functional integration in decision-making and execution and improving quality and outcomes.
has designed and delivered sensitive senior level team development, training content, 360 feedback instruments, team-building exercises, simulations, organizational climate surveys, bio-data based recruitment and hiring systems.
has conducted focus groups with senior leadership of many U.S.health plans.
In addition to holding his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Washington University, Dr. Janus is licensed as an Applied Psychologist in the State of Georgia and a Certified Mediator.
