Meredyth's Artist Statement
has lots of titles, but the one, Mixed Media Artist, only comes close to the art she
loves photography, but never really leaves well enough alone.
takes the photo and inks it, sands it, and otherwise manipulates it until you're not sure it's a photo.
designs polymer clay covers for books and journals she
creates from cardboard paper, paper, inks, paints, and ephemera.

Meredyth is an experienced instructor and has designed and taught classes in Altered Art, Relic Journals, Cloth Journals, and Polymer Clay covers and light switch plates.
also teaches different Coptic Binding stitches for handmade journals and books.

and a colleague created and organized a national art convention called Creative Inspirations on 29th Street.
Meredyth is teh co-editor of an international publication, Altered Words, showcasing altered art created by artists from all over the world.
She is also serving her second term as President of the International Society of Altered Book Artists (ISABA).
