Melissa A. Clark
Melissa A. Clark is the program coordinator for Exploring Careers in Health Occupations (ECHO).
duties include working with regional education and community-based organizations to promote careers in the health field, conducting summer health careers programs, performing grant and program development activities, and implementing the Youth Health Service Corps program.
Melissa was recently elected as both Chair of the Bridges to Opportunity Youth Engagement Work Group and Chair of the Biomedical Sciences Project Lead the Way Program Advisory Committee for Allegany County Public Schools.
She is also a member of the Garrett County Health Coalition.
Melissa is a graduate of Frostburg State University and Garrett College.
She is a Leadership Allegany! graduate and has received several honors during her non-profit career with the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland and the March of Dimes.
She has served on various community and service committees, including University of Maryland Extension, Leadership Allegany Alumni Committee, FIMR and various Chambers of Commerce.
She is also active in several community organizations, serving as the Vice President of Frankfort Athletic Boosters and on church committees.
Melissa joined Western Maryland AHEC in October 2014.
