bid to become the next mayor of Boston
got a couple of ground rules at home.
, 37, a psychologist and an upbeat mother of three kids under 6 years old, sat down with me at the couple's unpretentious West Roxbury two-decker while cradling her
sleeping daughter, 2-month-old MaryKate.
"It's been very intense," she
says of the heated race between her
city councillor husband and state Rep.
"If you believe that you have something to offer to this city, you got to go do it," said Meg Connolly, who grew up in Newtonville and holds a master's degree and a Ph.D. in psychology from Boston College.
"We knew how this would be, and so we talked a lot and planned a lot," Meg Connolly
