.A native of San Diego, California, he
has spent most of his
life in the midwest.He has been involved with the study and research of athletic power development since 1998 and has trained with NCAA Division I and II coaches and athletes, used and tested over half a dozen different programs designed to increase athletic power and vertical leap as well as researched thousands of pages of sports performance material pertaining to athletic quickness and power generation.
Thousands of athletes have been exposed to his
training and research through programs or systems he
has created specifically to increase vertical jumping ability or athletic power and quickness.He
has directly influenced and helped athletes in all 50 United States and in 15 countries increase their vertical leap and athletic power using his
proven systems of power training.Matt Stockert
has competed as both an NCAA Division II and then a Division I triple and long jumper for 5 years and has personally improved his
vertical leap from 25 inches to 36 inches using techniques and methods outlined within his
athletic power training system.Over his
8 year career in Track & Field he
has also improved his
long jump by more than 6 feet and his
triple jump by more than 10 feet,finishing his
athletic career as a two-time NCC All-Conference triple jumper, with multiple other first place finishes, and a 5th place finish at the 2005 NCAA Division I Independent Nationals in Sacramento, CA.
Athletes have been frustrated with limited or non existent gains in their athletic performance due to "one size fits all" training, potentially damaging training techniques and philosophies using outdated "modes" of training.He
has through the course of his
training and research, created a system for increasing an athlete's vertical leap by incredible amounts using the philosophy that all athletes have unique, individual strengths and weaknesses and so must be trained according to their specific needs.He
has created the Athletic AdvantageTraining System which utilizes whole body, balanced training, individualized for each athlete.He
has succeeded in creating a mathematically and scientifically based training regiment that actually works for all athletes with any level of fitness.
