Dr. Mason Tootell
recieved a Bachelor or Arts degree in Comparative Religious Studies and Pre-Medicine at Swarthmore College
, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
After graduating, he went on to complete masters level research at Thomas Jefferson University.
While there, he
focused on studying vascular biology and his
research topics included Angiogenesis in Cancer Formation and Angiogenesis in Coronary Artery Disease.
Soon after his
headed to Case Western Reserve University
in Cleveland, Ohio for medical school, in which he
completed an accelerated residency and was able to graduate in three years.
also participated in the Masters of Anatomy Program.
Following medical school, Dr. Tootell
completed a residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland
, Department of Family Medicine, which is consistently ranked in the top ten in the US (per US News
and World Report) .
Now, Dr. Tootell is residing in Warren County and is working for Warren Medical Group at his office at 418 Pennsylvania Avenue East.
He is board certified in Family Medicine and has a personal interest in the full spectrum of Family Medicine patients, but has specific interest in addiction medicine, pain management, and end-of-life care.
Dr. Tootell is a very active member in the medical field.
He has recently join the Hospice of Warren County Board of Directors and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine in the Penn State College of Medicine, UR/QA committee of WGH.
He is also an active member of the Young Health Care Professionals at Warren General Hospital.
enjoys spending time with his
family, completing missionary work and when he
is not doing one of those, he
loves all of the outdoor activities Warren has to offer, including fishing and hiking.
Every year, Dr. Tootell looks forward to competing in the Heat vs.
Healers charity football game.
