Perhaps the most moving moment was the presentation of an American flag by Larry and Mary Fipps of the Rotary Club of Eugene Mid-Valley.
The flag had flown at Pearl Harbor on the 50th anniversary of the date of the bombing of the harbor which brought about the United States' entry into World War II.
