Mary Ann Norfleet earned a B.S. in Education, Chemistry in 1964 and a Master Degree in Educational Psychology in 1965 at University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 1969 at University of Oregon in Eugene, OR.
Dr. Norfleet has been in independent practice in Palo Alto for over 30 years. She is past Chair of the Adjunct Clinical Faculty Council in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University and she is active in leadership roles in professional organizations at the national, state and local levels including the American Academy of Clinical Psychology and the American Psychological Association. Her ACF involvement focuses on teaching and mentoring psychiatry residents and psychology postdoctoral fellows. She currently Chairs the ACF Appointments and Promotions Committee in the Stanford University School of Medicine, and she's the Communications Director of the Association Adjunct Clinical.
