Mary Ann McColl PhD, MTS Dr. Mary Ann McColl is a Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy (Occupational Therapy) and in the Department of Community Health & Epidemiology at Queen's University. She is also Associate Director of the Centre for Health Services & Policy Research, and Academic Lead for the Canadian Disability Policy Alliance - an association of academic, community and policy partners committed to understanding and enhancing disability policy in Canada. Dr. McColl completed her occupational therapy training at Queen's University in 1978. After working as an OT in the community for 5 years, she completed MHSc and PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Toronto. She was an Assistant Professor at University of Toronto in Occupational Therapy, and Director of Research at Lyndhurst Spinal Cord Centre. In 1992, she moved to Queen's University, where she served two years as Head of Occupational Therapy. In 2007, she complete a Masters in Theological Studies, as well as one year of hospital chaplaincy training. Dr. McColl is one of the authors of the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure and Research on the COPM. She is also author of Spirituality and occupational therapy, Introduction to disability, Theoretical basis of occupational therapy, Disability & social policy in Canada, Interventions, effects and outcomes in occupational therapy and Interprofessional primary health care.

OHCRN - Profile: Mary Ann McColl Mary Ann McColl Mary Ann McColl Dr. Mary Ann McColl is the Acting Director at the Centre for Health Services and Policy Research, and a Professor in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology and in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy. She received a Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics from the University of Toronto in 1991, and a M.H.Sc. in Community Health and Epidemiology in 1983. She has recently completed a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) at Queen's University. Her primary research interests are access to health services for people with disabilities, rehabilitation in home care and primary care, disability policy, and spiritual issues associated with disability.
