new National Elite Development Manager - Emerging Talent
Rowing Australia (RA) is pleased to announce that Marty Rabjohns is joining RA at the National Rowing Centre of Excellence in the role of National Elite Development Manager - Emerging Talent.
In this role, Rabjohns
will manage all aspects of the underage elite development programs within the National Performance Frameworks.
Key components include the national coordination and delivery of the National Under 21 Program, the National Under 23 Program, incorporating the USA based program, as well as the athlete and coach identification and development at National Under 21, Under 23 level and National Junior Level.
Amongst others, the role is also responsible for the coordination and delivery of the National Talent Identification Program (NTID) as well as the National High Performance Development Coordinator Program (NHPDC) with the aim to increase the number of athletes with elite medal winning performance characteristics through all levels of the HP
Rabjohns is leaving his role of Rowing Manager at the New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS), which he held over the last three and a half years, to join RA.
