Martin J. Favis was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of Embassy Management LLC in August of 2012. He also acts as the President and CEO of all operating subsidiaries; SL Start and Associates, Aacres, Aspire Human Services and Imagine Behavioral and Developmental Services. Mr. Favis also sits on the Board of Directors for Embassy Management and all operating subsidiaries.
Martin has over 22 years of executive/senior level management experience within the health care services sector. For the past 15 years, he's worked exclusively with some of the largest and most well regarded social service/behavioral service organizations in the United States. Prior to joining Embassy, Favis was the President/Chief Executive Officer for the Duvall Home in Glenwood, Florida. The Duvall Home is a legacy provider of community based and residential programs serving the developmentally disabled and autistic population. (Established in 1945) During his tenure, Favis oversaw a significant transformation in profitability, reputation and regulatory excellence. Prior to his leadership at the Duvall Home, Mr. Favis was the Chief Development Officer for Providence Service Corporation. Providence is one of the largest providers of human services in the United States with over 500 locations, 12,000 employees and approximately $1 billion dollars in annual revenue. As CDO, Martin was responsible for the overall organic development across the company and also oversaw and managed the acquisition process and the successful integration of numerous acquisitions. Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, Providence is a public company, traded on NASDAQ. Camelot was a large national provider providing residential, community based and school based programs across the United States. Martin has an outstanding track record of managing and overseeing multi-site, multi-site platforms within the health care services sector. Prior to joining the Duvall Home, Martin was the Chairman & CEO for Brookline Service Corporation, a private equity backed acquirer of behavioral and social service enterprises. Before starting Brookline, Martin was the Chief Development Officer for Providence Service Corporation, a Tucson, Arizona headquartered social service company with over 500 locations in 38 states. His main responsibilities involved the organic & external growth of the company, and managing the mergers, acquisitions and integration of over a dozen transactions. His previous employer, Camelot Care Centers was acquired by Providence Service Corporation. At Camelot, Martin was the Florida CEO, then Chief Operating Officer and ultimately the CEO of Nashville based Camelot. Camelot operated over 100 residential and community based programs in a dozen states. Prior to Camelot, Martin was also the CEO of First Rehab Plus & COO for Rehab Consultants. Currently, Martin also works as a Professional in Residence for several international private equity firms who rely on his experience and background within the behavioral and social services sector.
