MARTIN: Now look, Joe, I didn't like this boy from the beginning.
PAINE: Well, I'm very glad to know that Martin. There has been a rumor going around, mostly spread by Schools Superintendent Dr. Brian Osborne and FUSE President Martin Daly, that Jeff Korostoff was my "source" for much of what I knew about what was going on in New Rochelle schools. But let me correct Osborne and Daly, Jeff Korostoff was not my source - I was his.

FUSE President Martin Daly, FUSE Executive Vice-President Sandy Annunziata, FUSE Vice-President for Pedagogic Staff Aisha Cook, FUSE Secretary Matthew Reid and FUSE Treasurer Ann Marie Manganiello were the only candidates to submit petition and thus were automatically reelected to serve a three year term of office beginning June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2017.

F.U.S.E. President Martin Daly announced to members today detailed information about the proposed contract settlement with the City School District of New Rochelle.
Daly informed members: Based on a prior statement by Daly, "pink slips" to those staff being terminated as part of the new school budget will be distributed in the coming days.

Marty Daly, F.U.S.E. which represents 1,300 staff members including Pedagogic staff (teachers, counselors, teaching assistants, etc.) and School Related Professionals (secretaries, custodians, teacher aides, etc.) has told union members that the meeting this week will determine if there will be an agreement prior to the District finalizing the budget at their meeting on April 14th.
The union, like the school district, bases its negotiations largely on what is going on in other districts. Daly told F.U.S.E. members he hopes to be able to share specific information about the contract in the next two weeks. F.U.S.E. President Martin Daly, in a newsletter communication to union members, wrote that recent parent meetings at Jefferson Elementary School and Isaac E. Young Middle School were painful but essential if "the district, staff members, parents and students are going to rebuild the trust that has been badly shaken by the allegations against Mr. Martinez." In the newsletter, Daly said that many parents who spoke at the meetings supported the school district but there was some "serious criticism" for the way in which district administrators communicated with parents.
