1978 salesperson of the year..On June 9 , just six months shy of his
49th birthday , Deacon Martin ( Mickey ) Bancroft
will turn his
grandmother's statements into reality.I think the seed was planted by my grandmother , but my parents nurtured that seed , said Deacon Bancroft.Deacon Bancroft , who grew up in New York City , graduated from St. Michael's College
in Colchester , Vermont in 1974 and went to work for IBM
.Deacon Bancroft , the third of eight children , lost his
younger brother , Paul , 20 , in a tragic accident in 1978.At that point , he
asked himself , Am I living my life to the fullest?.and answered , No..Deacon Bancroft mentioned the possibility of entering the seminary to his
co-workers , but he
never took the next step.
