Marshall McPeek is a meteorologist, co-anchor, and reporter for NBC 4 and has been with the station since 2002.
Marshall has worked in Cleveland, Toledo, southern Illinois, and Toronto. He grew up in Bucyrus and has been working in the broadcast industry since he was 14 years old.
His journalism degree is from Ohio University and he earned his broadcast meteorology certificate is from Mississippi State University. He holds the Seal of Approval and the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society. He also is a member of the National Weather Association.

Marshall McPeek is a meteorologist, co-anchor, and reporter for NBC 4.
He joined NBC 4 in January 2002. Before joining Storm Team 4, Marshall worked as a weather anchor for WEWS-TV and as a weather anchor and feature reporter at WKYC-TV, both in Cleveland. He also worked as an anchor/reporter for WTOL-TV in Toledo, Ohio, and WSIL-TV in Harrisburg, Illinois.
Marshall earned his journalism degree from Ohio University and his broadcast meteorology certificate from Mississippi State University. He is a member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. He holds the AMS's Seal of Approval (Seal #1416) and has also earned the AMS's prestigious designation of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM #501).
Marshall has been nominated for two Emmy awards and received several Ohio Associated Press awards. He has covered major weather events including the Great Midwest Flood of '93 and significant news stories including following military members to Incirlik AFB in Turkey as they patrolled the No-Fly Zone over Iraq.
Marshall grew up in Bucyrus, Ohio, and began his broadcasting career at just 14 years old at local radio stations WBCO-AM and WQEL-FM.
Marshall and his partner live in Columbus with their favorite canines, Quox, Pogonip and Vlad, and a bizarre Siamese named Stewie.

Marshall McPeek Marshall McPeek is a longtime Central Ohio meteorologist and journalist. He joined the ABC6/FOX28 First Warning Weather team and "Good Day Columbus" in September 2013.
Marshall grew up in in Bucyrus (the Bratwurst Capital of the World) and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University's Honors College with a degree in journalism. He received his meteorology training from Mississippi State University and has earned the American Meteorological Society's prestigious designation as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM Seal #501).
Marshall started his broadcast career in Bucyrus at WBCO-AM/WQEL-FM when he was just 14 years old. Since then, the dinosaurs have disappeared, man has discovered fire, and Marshall has worked for stations in Toronto, Cleveland (x2), Southern Illinois, Toledo, and Columbus. Many Central Ohio viewers may remember his 11-year stint co-hosting the weekend-morning broadcasts on, ahem, another local station. He came to ABC6/FOX28 after running off to Key West, Florida, where he founded a successful marketing business, MRM Media & Marketing, LLC, and The Keys Home Show.
When he's not staring at the radar or being mesmerized by passing clouds, Marshall enjoys exploring the back roads of Central Ohio and meeting the interesting people who make this one of the most fascinating places in the country.
